What is All-on-4 treatment?

The basic principle of the All-on-4 system is similar to many other dental implant systems currently in use. The main difference is that only four implants are required cutting down the amount of surgery needed to fit them and the number of screws to hold the teeth in place. By angling the implants in a certain way – the implants at the back of the mouth are placed at an angle of 45 degrees – the All-on-4 system provides a secure base for a full arch of lower or upper teeth. This results in a hold that is just as secure as each section being secured by its own implant.
